It's worth noting that you start the game in a prologue playing as Mami, Madoka, and Homura, in spoiler[timeline 2's battle against Patricia], before switching gears to Iroha and the other new characters, so adding Sayaka isn't too surprising.

Lol Madoka Magica is my favorite anime and, of course, I'm excited for any future developments in the anime department, but it's kinda funny watching fans. They all jump at every hint of anything new. Anime hyper
Not that I want it to take much longer either, but still.
