I'm surprised they're doing Go-busters considering how old it is at this point. but it gives me hope for ToQger and Zyuohger in the future

Oh, that's a shock using the Super Sentai series from the previous seasons than the next ones for the next season of Power Rangers.

Bandai was a big part of Go-Busters being skipped (apparently the line for that season didn't do great in Japan). I wonder whose idea it was to use it now, Saban's or Hasbro's?

I kinda feel like using Go-Busters makes some sense with Hasbro involved.
Mostly likely due to the zords they use since they have a transforming feature. Like the Red Ranger’s zord can go from car to cheetah to robot.
Honestly I’m kinda happy they are going to use Go-Busters, makes me hope they reference RPM in some way. Like with the Venjix virus perhaps.

What the @#$%?
I just finished watching Kyuranger, the first Super Sentai series that I ever watched in it's full and original form. I was really looking forward to seeing how it will be turned into a Power Rangers show!
Bandai America provided input on the designs!
A Kyuranger was shown on the special alternate cover for Boom Studios 25th anniversary Power Rangers Comic!
This had to have been well in the works!
What the @#$% happened!

As a fan of Go-Busters and a huge fan of the villain for that Sentai Enter, it sounds like they are keeping some of the special Ops part of the show, but sadly I bet they will give it some generic villain. Dino charge used that disappointing alien guy instead of the imposing dark villain from the original show. Will wait and see what they do with this one, but honestly the last few seasons of Power Rangers have been very unimpressive compared to the earlier years.

How would they? Power Rangers is built off of a content deal with Toei. Bandai's toy license to the franchise expired and Hasbro grabbed it.

Bandai still makes the toys in Japan. That's why people are confused on how this is all going to work.

hopefully they’ll get a new head writer but who knows, this series’ plot seems interesting (at least the villains aren’t running a game show in outer space this time god that is so stupid even for PR) and hopefully they focus on the story and not a bunch of filler but neo Saban could easily fudge it up.

But I always thought that Beast Wars was part of the Transformers franchise...

They basically got the license to produce and distribute it for a territory. This is not the first time it has happened. In the videogame world, a number of Call of Duty titles was published in Japan by Square-Enix, not Activision. The same with Grand Theft Auto IV, published by Capcom instead of Rockstar Games.

Is anyone else blown away that they're actually mentioning the Morphin' Grid for the first time within the show since RPM? 10 Years by the time it airs!
Go-Buster's was a more mature sentai and I hope the PR equilvelant reflects that. Also please keep the talking buddyroids.
Not keen on the name "Beast Morphers" but the logo reminds me of Beast Machines. Another Hasbro property. Coincidence?
Do you think Hasbro ordered the change in logo to differeniate their products from any remaining Bandai ones on the shelf?
I'm a little skeptical on how much this will influence the show, but I guess we'll find out. We might get a better season due to the executives being more hands off and not steering the boat due Ninja Steel's less then stellar ratings.

Or take Yo-Kai Watch. In Asia, those toys are manufactured by Bandai. In the west, it's Hasbro. While there's overlap in the types of products, the actual toys and merch use different molds and aren't identical. That's probably what will happen with Power Rangers.

Almost certainly.

Hasbro will positively influence Power Rangers once they buy the franchise from Saban.
