The name of the company is the Greek word for cotton

I'm Greek and i've never heard that word before. The Greek word for cotton is Βαμβάκι(Vamvaki).

That name just fails on all levels.....they're basically calling their games filler or 'fluff'; if read like "Baka" it just elicits cringe; and 'vaca' in Spanish means cow. Not to mention they apparently didn't do their research when trying to be fancy by choosing a foreign word.

Lame name choice aside, with so many f indie game developers inside/outside of Japan, there is the chance some of them could see anime adaptations. For example, let's say by year's end this company gets $1 million in revenue and they help a start-up L.A.-based start-up company get their first game launched. The L.A. company might respond back with "As you helped us fund our 1st game, you can make a TV anime version of this game. However, we might have some conditions that need to be met."

I was thinking maybe Latin, but this was the best I could find.

@Fenrin,

Yes, cow. Is there an 'Engrish' equivalent for Japanese speakers?
