I may have skipped out on the panel today in favor of doing other things at kawaii kon, but I'm sure glad they finally announced this.

Sweet, this cast looks awesome! I very much enjoyed Sean Chiplock in Trails of Cold Steel (as the lead, Rean) and as "you just wanna hug him" Mishima in Persona 5.

Sarah Williams as Felix

Because of course she is! Laughing

And I'm not complaining. That's awesome casting. It's just... going from Hunter x Hunter to this, I just find it hilarious.

Cast sound pretty bang zoom'ish though, If they are hired by funimation to work on this dub too then that is amazing. They did one hella job with Mob psycho 100 dub too, Seriously can't wait for this dub..

It seems like none simul-dubs from Funimation are soon to be a thing of the past.

For real look how long it took to dub this show, this is pathetic, anyway i give up on dubs its like the quality went south as much as i love Todd there is too much Bruces so I will gladly sacrifice my love for Todd's voice to keep me sane.

All of Funi's simuldubs usually come out a year after the last episode airs. For example Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid's last episode aired in april (not counting the OVA) and Funi is releasing the set next month.

This show wasn't on Funi's original simuldub slate so of course it took a while for it to come out. It was more than likely a holdup on Cruchy's end (LIke Kabaneri). Most likely something with the licensor.

Todd? Bruce? Who are you talking about? None of the voice actors on this list are by that name.

And some shows, typically in my opinion the shows from Sentai Filmworks, tend to have pretty subpar dubs but Funi has a pretty dang good record for their dub quality. I'm particularly fond of the Hero Aca dub of their recent projects, but even shows like FMA and plenty of their other shows are really well done.

i really like this cast, but I haven't heard too much from the VA for Rem to know if that is a good choice.

Unless they follow the web novel, rather than wait for the light novel release they will be a large wait for sufficient material to adapt another season.

It depends on the show, to be honest. For example look at Attack on Titans season 2. That came out on Blu Ray last week, but finished airing in July of last year. Than there's Show by the Rock season 2, that's finished last January and is only finally getting a Blu Ray release in May of this year.

they took awhile to dub this because it has such great voice acting in japanese, no matter how good a dub is people will always say the sub is better, but they're trying their damndest to get a solid cast, and get the best voice acting they can to try to match the japanese version since this is such a high profile show.
