Phew. I saw that director and was like "fudge PACING" but then I remembered thats the "series composition" and Kazuyuki Fudeyasu paced "Girls last Tour" perfectly, so i'm not worried about that,
I must say, I really like the artstyle of the backgrounds. Kinda reminds me of "Sunday Without A God" but a little different. |

The light novel has a good story and I am looking forward to the anime. The character design for Rimiru looks right though I think they did turn the Moe dial up a bit too far with Shizu.

Man, check out those backgrounds. I remember thinking how despite its pacing, 8-bit really nailed the art direction in Knight's & Magic. I'm impressed they're actually consistent with their visuals.
