For some reason I was under the impression that this series had been cancelled since bund ii only had four volumes with an ending that didn't have much closure.

I sorta got that impression too, not that it was officially canceled but that the author felt like they were done.

Yeah, I'm not going to double-dip if Seven Seas releases the reprinted omnibus volumes, but I'm looking forward to the new sequel series. I've just started reading the Memories of Sledgehammer series, and I'll move onto Scarlet Order after I've finished it. So I'll be all caught up if and when Seven Seas publishes Dance in the Vampire Bund: A.S.O.

That's a relief, I almost gave up hope. spoiler[2 ends mid fight scene with way too many questions unanswered, it felt like reading the anime ending of Gangsta.] So yeah I needed this.

Yeah, I thought so too, though I loved the series so this is very cool.

So glad to see more! I wonder if the manga-ka simply needed time to decide where he wants the story to go. I miss Mina and Akira (both of them) and Yuki and all the rest, and I definitely need a dose of the maids!

Screamed when I saw this. Scarlet Order was a bummer, but DITVB is such a personal favorite that I can't help but to be incredibly excited for more Mina <3

Although, I wonder what this means for Soul Liquid Chambers...?

I recently finished reading Scarlet Order after putting down the series after the first one ended. I had read that there was no proper conclusion and that the series had been dropped and didn't really want to invest myself to be let down (even if many questions had been left unanswered with the first series) in the next series but forgot this info in the meantime and then picked it back up the other day vaguely remembering that there was some kind of issue like that. Lo and behold it wasn't that long ago that this announcement was made. I feel kind of lucky at the timing. I was pretty disappointed with the abrupt ending of Scarlet Order, it was just starting to answer some of the questions I was searching for. I'm glad that for whatever reason the manga-ka was able to get a new publisher or decided to come back to the series. I've seen mixed information about the manga-ka having lost interest or the publisher not having renewed the contract. Seven Seas Entertainment seems to have made the series kind of a pet project, having gone out on a limb to collect the doujinshi into a compilation even, so I'm sure that they'll pick this one up too, looking forward to it!

As for myself, while I know that an English omnibus is already available, I will only "double-dip", if it is a translation of this TO Books omnibus, rather than just the English volumes bound together... You wouldn't happen to know whether the English omnibus is the TO Books version or not, would you?
