It was nice to see how rapidly that financial goal was reached - within about four hours after the launch of the auction.

That these items, certain props from the live action trilogy in particular, are on offer does give a sense of finality, for this format of the Chihayafuru story.

That first round ended rather well, I think, financially. Over 1500%.
Hope the people who bought the items, the props especially, turn out to be good custodians.

New listings are up, same "address": https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/reu/project?id=1145
(Cumulative - already over 1600% since the start of the second wave, at approx. 11:00 JST)

Can't help but wonder here how much of Yuki Suetsugu's original artwork previously auctioned for charity will be visible at her upcoming exhibition, opening tomorrow. Several important pieces were still missing, as of the last reports.

Less than 23 hours remaining before the bidding ends on the final item.
Total amount at the start of the final auction day, over 4,000,000円 raised or more than 2000% of the target achieved.

In related news, the ongoing 2018 exhibition - Chihayafuru World - appears to be well attended. Yuki Suetsugu's artwork which became the illustration for the first Chihayafuru volume is among the drawings on display but it looks like the artwork which became the cover of the first Be Love magazine issue with a Chihayafuru chapter could not be retrieved in time for the Tokyo leg of the exhibition tour. Still time.
