Character designs look terrible as always, when it comes to Trigger, except for Kill la Kill's. The staff isn't looking promising either. I was hoping for it to be good until todays news. Absolutely gonna pass on this.
My only hope for Trigger is now Promare.

The staff’s been known since December and saying that Kill La Kill is the only not-terrible designs from Trigger is just ridiculous. Little Witch Academia’s were good too. Besides, designs are not everything. This isn’t even out yet so you can’t say that it’s bad without watching a single episode of it. Wait for it to air before getting on the complain train.  Although based on your history, I’m not surprised by this response as that’s almost all you like to do on this site whether or not they make sense, which is befuddling.

While I admit the character designs in this look a bit ho-hum, Trigger almost always has great character designs. LWA had the best designs of anime in 2017, period, Kiznaiver's were awesome, Space Patrol Luluco had great designs, and the character designs in Darling in the Franxx this season are one of the best parts of that show. I'm not sure where you're coming from with this.

I think this looks amazing. The character's designs are just perfect imo. Very much to my liking. These Trigger co-project have all been really cool looking so far.

I do love how this is coming out when the Reboot well, reboot is ripping off the premise of the original Gridman.

I think there's something amiss, but I personally don't think it's bad. Gridman's design look cool and the setting seems interesting. I really hope there won't be problems with the execution.

I'm in. I like these kinds things and enjoyed the trailer. The shots outside the buildings look nice and some nice destruction.

This (plus as said Kill la Kill's fantastic designs). If anything I love so many of Trigger's character designs.
These look more normal and less stylish than usual for them but Gridman's design looks appropriately cool. And the two more atmospheric first shots of the character designs at the very beginning of the trailer had them looking pretty good.

I admit I haven't seen the original Gridman, but as a longtime fan of giant monsters and a convert into the Ultraman franchise, I am definitely looking forward to what Trigger can do with this!
