Oh man... I want this too! Especially since I doubt it's going to be on Itunes as none of the 3rd season Sailor Moon Crystals stuff was brought over, so yeah...
Though I do complain that Kakumei wa Night & Day sounds awkward (it's a character song done by the Inner Senshi... I don't think a solo). Though conversely I find it amusing that Yoko Isisda is just doing a remix as she was the original singer. |

I'll have to wait for the full versions to see if they're good or not but one thing that bugs me is that they seem to be more closer to the Momoiro Clover Z cover from the 20th Anniversary tribute album (which I didn't really care for) than the two originals.
Worst cover of Moon Revenge I have ever heard, it's so bad that it makes Momoiro Clover Z's cover from the Moon Pride single sound better in comparison. There was also the recent cover by Megumi Ogata (90s Uranus) & Masako Katsuki (90s Neptune) that's also better than this.
Sorta wish there was another version of Ai no Senshi by her but then there was the cover she did back in 2010 and that was great and would probably be hard to top.
This song was originally released as part of a single of hers back in July 2016 after Crystal season 3 ended and they were promoting it back then so I have no idea why it's getting re-released here 2 years later. Makes me wish they did the same with Momoclo's Moon Revenge so I would have been spared of hearing what DID make it to this album. The rest are weak with the exception of Tuxedo Mirage which sounds okay.
It's a group song but she did most of the work for it since the original has her credited under her Tika α pen name as composer, arranger & songwriter so this solo one is basically her own version...which isn't the best I agree but it is tolerable unlike that Otome no Policy cover she did for the last tribute album. |

Mmm. I have lots of thoughts and feels here.
On the one hand? Yay more songs! Cool they're going for such an image with the music and all, too. As for the selection? I mean. Some of these songs already got their time to shine on the (first) anniv. CD. There are so many character singles, musical songs and other tracks from over the years to choose from. Why are they neglecting so many great songs from the history of the series, just to do repeats?? I get bringing back the first OP, and I kind of feel Moon Revenge and Sailor Stars Song. Kind of. But I'm not even feeling that Moon Revenge that much, and really? WE HAVEN'T EVEN GOT NAGAREBOSHI HE YET! I'm a bitter stan! Give me my song! Naoko wrote the dang herself, didn't she!? It's one of few (only!?) songs actually in the manga! They should have saved Sailor Stars Song to be on a CD with Nagareboshi he for when they got to the Stars arc. What is this nonsense!?? Venting over and aside, I just don't get this selection. Why keep throwing out the same songs over and over? At least we got a new character single not long ago, but jeez. We could be getting way more. Give us more Myu music reprised, and give us more Myu projects in general so we can get songs similar to what the old Myu had. Keep giving us new character singles. |
