So...is this doomed already? The only reason I can think why they would change the story so much already would be that they think the premise is literally too gay so they want to throw in more girls. Sure, maybe they turn into guys too but at least there's more girls in the non fight sequences?

Source manga is measly 2 volumes, so they'll need a LOT of padding for full length 12 episodes |

Too bad, turning bad boys into cute mahou shoujo like Mahou Shoujo Danshi Koukousei from konkichi would have been funnier
Or a cute otokonoko trap becoming mahou shounen, i would like to see more of this But cute girl + Yukarin is always a pleasure
