Considering how the showing I went too sold out so they added a 2nd, which also sold out so they added a 3rd, they'd be stupid not to.

I'm just glad that they are showing the dub of the first movie closer to me than they did the sub. I was really not feeling driving two hours to Dallas.

I hate how they shoving the ShirouxSakura "ship" at our faces like that. I only care about my boy Shirou being a badass and to see "that scene" animated

Considering Sakura and Emiya are the main focus of these movies, they're obviously going to advertise them heavily.

Considering Sakura and Emiya are the main focus of these movies, they're obviously going to advertise them heavily.

...The main crux of the route is the ship though. Would be more than a little odd for it not to be in the forefront.

Not really this route is about Shirou's journey and that "love story" is just there, it's really forced, it honestly feels like Shirou was just brainwashed to love Sakura

It was one of the handful they brought up to the Central Coast last year, and we had decent numbers in the showing I was in. Knowing my luck they will show it when I'm working now I am moving to afternoon shift :/

While I've never read the source material I feel like that's one of the major points of this route, their relationship not the brainwashing part.
Of course, another one would be Shirou's growth, but both are equally important.
However from a publicity standpoint its far easier to market their relationship than it is to market Shirou's growth.
Also while I admit to being an avid type-moon fan other fans can be very... loud opposed to simply being vocal.
These loud fans are most like the ones the promotional department is trying to appease and advertise to.
Nonetheless I will be checking the release date for this thing like a hawk, setting a calendar reminder every month.
Somehow I managed to completely miss my window to get tickets for the first movie because it was so small.
