I just hope that this time Masahiro Ando will do a really show of action, because Canaã did not even come close. Although it's a great series, according to critics.

Oh boy, another show with an opening by the band that literally only ever does one song. I'm thrilled.

@G S Palmer
I noticed the band under Warner Bro's anime music label and Warner Bro Japan is helping PA Works produce this show (the PV is on Warner Bro's Anime youtube channel) so that's probably their gig, going by the past pattern.

They have had made 7 singles and 3 albums released since 8/18/2010. That started with the HotD theme. It does take time for a band or a singer to make it big (if ever). So, I don't know if your snarky or sarcastic remark was meant to be an understatement or exaggeration.

I meant that they're all the same. You can't tell any of their songs apart. The HotD theme must have been popular, because they've just been copying it ever since, with Gate, Alderamin, Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens, etc. In the case of Gate, they even did different OPs for the first and second cours, but you could totally be forgiven for thinking they just kept the same OP because they're so similar. The group doesn't have any range. That doesn't mean I think they're bad (although I'm not a huge fan), but if you've heard one of their songs, you've heard them all.

Every year around Christmas, I see the Canaan Blu-ray on sale for around $12. It is on my to watch list, but every year I always pass it up in favor of something else. I know what you mean, the critics seem to love it, but so far it just sits on my list...nothing I have heard has tipped me over the edge yet. Confused
