When did I get old? Rayearth's anniversary needs more pomp. It was the first anime I watched that taught me how bittersweet gut-punch anime could be. CLAMP were the queens of dark angst and shoujo. And dark angst shoujo.

When are we getting an anime remake?? MKR deserves it so much, and it kinda needs it, frankly. I'm still miffed though at CLAMP somehow managed to retcon MKR and mess it up via CCS and Tsubasa/xxxHolic, but I want to believe that the manga/anime themselves can exist separately still.
As for the merch, the last anniversary brought some nice stuff. But there really could be so much more. I'm going to buy as much as I can this time though~. |
