Tokyo Tower? Zojoji Temple? Doesn't sound like there's much difference between this tour and any other Tokyo tour except that they're gonna tack a "Remember this monument in Sailor Moon?" at the beginning of each speech. ^^

Hi,

Good point. Zojoji and Tokyo Tower were highlighted in the press release since they're names people would recognize quickly.

Most of the tour will be spent visiting locations that the characters spent their time at, like the two Hikawa shrines, significant parks in the Azabu area that appeared the series (to a photo-realistic degree), the real-life versions of the schools the characters attended, and many more, as well as locations that relate to the show's creation and broadcast, like Asahi Television in Roppongi.

Another notable difference from most tours is going to be the attendee make up; it's 6-10 hardcore fans of a single series, so when we karaoke Moonlight Densetsu everyone ought to be able to sing along.

Ah, got it, thanks for clearing this up for me. I guess I just thought Sailor Moon was being used as a marketing ploy to disguise an everyday Tokyo tour, but I now see you've taken much greater steps to differentiate it from other tours.

I'm kinda cringing at the thought of 10 gaijins singing Moonlight Densetsu in unison, but eh well, hope your trip's a success. Anime smile

I would love to go on this trip, but it's a little expensive. ^^

True, it's costly, but you'll be hard pressed to find an custom guided tour to Japan which includes hotel, dinner, transportation, etc. at such a low price- we're doing everything at-cost (the breakdown is at the website) without intent to profit.

Cheesemon: heh I see what you mean about 10 gaijin singing in unison. I'll let you know if my ears explode.
