Anime Expo is joke, and in all likelihood your chance of meeting and getting signatures from any of the guests is close to zero. They aren't even coordinated in anyway by one central body; each guest brought by a sponsor ultimately has some restriction to meet , which usually involves spending quite a bit of money, and they signature amounts are really small, or your other option is waiting for a limited number of tickets that typically require you to wait as long as 12 hours before hand.

I went last year and it was a joke.

I mean if you are already going to charge people for meeting the artist for signatures, at least dont limit it to something ridiculous like a 100 people when a few thousand people attend. And before you say anything like, well they cant sign that much; thats a load of bs, even a D lister novelist can sign several hundred to a thousand signatures at an event.

In my experience, Bookwalker had pretty good policies around autograph sessions for their guests (at least in 2016 when they had the creators of Monster Musume and Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto).
