If it's anything like the 3DS cartoonish games, count me out. I'm still waiting on a new console Pokemon with the earthy design of Colosseum and Gale of Darkness (I don't recommend typing "X D" without the space on ANN).

As for me, I like both visual styles. Alola could've definitely used more options for post-game leveling though, especially in UltraSun and UltraMoon where everyone jumps up like 10 levels in the post-game chapter. Even Lillie.

Hopefully it adds Gorochu. I've been reading a lot about it being scrapped from Red and Blue. I could see Gorochu being very powerful, and I can see the inevitable season based on Generation VIII feature a storyline in which Ash's Pikachu has constant nightmares about this evolution.

I'm excited for the next set of main games, but I'm glad it's not coming out until next year. Gives me time to save up for a Switch in the meantime.

Which I don't know why it would be considering they already tackled the idea of evolving Pikachu back in season 1.
