More manga is good but will they ever fix all the missing chapters and errors in older manga? I doubt it. Hard to convince me to buy their service when they make so many mistakes in every field

What the point, if Crunchyroll never releases new chapters and there missing chapters, catalog is not that strong and always an issue with CR Manga app.

I have the premium service with Crunchyroll and like their service as a whole, but (as others have noted) the missing chapters issue is really a problem. I was very excited to start reading "Wave, Listen to Me" but then finished chapter 1 only to find that Crunchyroll was missing chapters 2-24, and they picked up again with chapter 25. That basically meant that I stopped reading the manga entirely. A pretty frustrating experience.

It should be noted that not all of their manga are missing chapters like this (not much consolation if you're really interested in one that is missing chapters though).

At least they have all of Aposimz!

This kind of thing has been the case for all Kodansha titles starting a few months ago.

The premise sounds hot, lol.

Anyways, the "missing chapters" issue is because of Kodansha policy: only simulpubs and once tankobon are released for them, their chapters are removed from CR, with Fairy Tail being the only exception

The whole point is to incentive buying the manga:

The article did say that they'll include chapters between the last volume and current chapter, so in that sense, there are no actual missing chapters for Kodansha titles. Of course you'll be paying a whole lot more for that.
