Great, the video is not available here. Seeing the numbers of female casts versus the male, I couldn't help but feel that this is probably like... What? Another harem? This is just a speculation for now since I can't watch the preview.

It's an adaptation of a dating sim, so it'll likely start out as a harem until the main girl's tragic backstory comes to light and the main character spends the rest of the story trying to comfort her.

At least, that's usually the way dating sims end up going.

Guess I know another title to avoid in the future now. I don't even know why I'm harping on this to be another good and believable drama like Ano Hana. Thanks for the alert.

Rather than anything else, I've been getting AIR vibes from this. You know, the magic realism that were once often produced by Key?

Can't explain what, but something about this makes me feel like giving it a shot.

I don't know why people are being so negative about the series... STEINS GATE for example has both a worse male to female rate and more fan-service than Island... As long as the anime production doesn't decide to create new scenes, there's really no fan-service in Island, and the girls are pretty far from being infatuated with the MC, if anything they have a far more unhealthy and toxic relationship. At the end of the day even Steins gate is more of a harem shown them Island anyway... Not that a blame anyone, most of the synopses and trailers are really bad at explaining what the series is about.
