I wouldn't rulw it out that easily. Troy Baker does video games all the time. It just depends on whether Namco Bandai decides to go union or not with the game. They most likely won't but we don't know for sure.

Of course Troy Baker still does video games, but it's been a long time since he's ever worked on a JRPG, and his most recent roles have almost exclusively been on AAA productions (The Last of Us, Uncharted 4, Shadow of War, etc.) and given that he's still in high-demand by these big companies, it's likely to stay that way.

To give you an idea, the amount of voice acting in the PS3 version is almost twice the size of the 360 version since several scenes that were originally unvoiced received full voice acting. So yeah, there's a lot.

Troy Baker just does AAA title games these days, he kind disappeared from the anime side of things, but even if he doesn't return they'll probably just get Mathew Mercer to voice Yuri since they have a similar voice range and he took over as Kanji in the Persona 4 arena games

i read somewhere a long time that Troy and Sam Riegal both already recorded their voices for the ps3 version, it's just that that version was never released
