The last movie was ok but was honestly not that impressed with the whole new direction.
This trailer seems really nice though, and if it's actually a proper sequel to the previous one, that'll be nice as well. Overall it seems like it has a stronger identity and themes it wants to explore.
Kinda looking forward to the movies now since they are at least trying out different things, even if they don't turn out amazing. Movies have been pretty meh since like 2010~2011.

It's kind of too bad that whatever song they make for the movie will most likely end up being replaced in the English dub.

I think in movie 10 the ending theme was performed by two American singers so I wonder if they changed that in the dub.

If that is the Darkrai movie, they changed it to a different song.
The only time I can remember a movie ending song not being replaced was the Jirachi movie's song, "Chiisaki Mono". They did an English version of the song called "Make a Wish", and kept part of it in Japanese.

the singers for the Darkrai movie were Sarah Brightman and Chris Thompson.
I wonder why they changed the song in that movie.

I swear Satoshi/Ash looks like a girl in the 2018 film more than he has in the past. Not that I'm really complaining, it's just interesting how he looks in this movie.

It's not surprising to me that Satoshi has a more bishie look since the new movie is being animated by Studio Wit who did Ancient Magus Bride. I wonder if Wit will continue to animate the Pokemon movies from here on out or if they'll use a different studio for each one or just go back to the regular studio after this movie?
