Hitorijime My Hero is getting a dub? Thank you so much Sentai! I guess this is a case of ask and you shall receive. I am so glad a lot of people liked this show. It is one of the BL that I would put in the above average category.

Glad to hear the release date for the Made in Abyss Blu-rays. I’m going to splurge so hard on those. Looking forward to seeing the eventual cast list for the dub as well.

It's not that often that you get a complete-series release here with the Eng. dub version the same year as the Japanese version. Considering "Seven Heavenly Virtues" is collectively not much longer than an hour, I would think might be charging something like $20-$30.

not really. its the old saying that have stood through the test of time. SEX SELLS! and this series is no exception. its from the SAME STUDIO that did Queens Blade after all so, it was pretty apparent that it was going to get one! though if it was a choice between getting a dub for this and one for all of the seasons for to love ru, a majority of dub fans and harem fans in general would rather the latter or the former!!! but i was expecting funi to do the dub for this series since it simuldub the seven mortal sins which is the prequel of the series! my theory is that the fanservice for this series might be too much for even funi to handle and the fanservice on seven heavenly virtues is DEFINITELY OVER THE TOP TO THE POINT OF BEING CLOSE TO R18 and even more risque than valkyrie drive mermaid which is SAYING A LOT! |

uhhhh.... i wasn't trying to be funny at the slightest! for one thing , its not that farfetched at all. the fanservice of seven mortal sins and seven heavenly virtues is like night and day. the same with queens blade and rebellion, and its because of it that i am not surprise that both funi & MB licensed those sequel of those series let alone dub them! DOUBLE for shinmai mao no testament BURST which have its ecchi fanservice completely pushing its fanservice to ero levels. not even dxd went that far with the fanservice which is saying A LOT! dont be surprise if months later we hear that it will be sentai/section 23 that will license testament BURST as well as give it the to love ru & zero no tsukaima treatment, aka release that series SUB ONLY! |

No, that would be surprising because it's already been planned for release by Crunchyroll and FUNimation for a long time now, and likely has already been dubbed. (EDIT: Not to mention it even already has a release date too.) |

you may not have been trying to, but that is a fairly ridiculous thing to seriously try to claim. Yeah, Seven Virtues does a few raunchy things but so do a number of other fanservice titles they have licensed and released. So yes, it is comical that anyone would seriously believe 7 virtues was some how too much. |
