INTEREST: Evangelion Series Gets 1st Wind Instrument Concert in September

Yay Eric Miyashiro and Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra! Eric is one of the best trumpeters in Japan (and such a nice guy). Met him when he came home to Hawaii a while back after a concert. He is also credited in playing the original score for the show. He's one of my favorite musicians.

Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra is the premier concert band in Japan and one of the best (disputably the best) in the world. They record the reference recording for the National Competition for bands in Japan. They also frequently have Eric guest play with them so it is quite a normal combination.

I hope to be able to get to hear some of the concert recordings!
