As much as I like the series, I wouldn't mind if Tsubasa reached the final of the Olympics and lost. After all, he hasn't lost too much and still there is no mention of the Takahashi's planned final arc, the World Cup. After all, Rising Run has been building up more stuff about Tsubasa like his health and family.
