I hope this doesn't delay the release of "Robot."

That sucks... Isaac was cool. I was certain he was gonna one day be the recognized figure in the US anime/manga industry.

That sucks.

Are there any actual US anime/manga stars? Maybe the guy from Megatokyo. But who else?

We'll miss you Isaac!

I'm wondering if this would affect Robot's (or just regular non-yaoi) release in the future.

Good luck to Mr. Isaac Lew. He was pretty helpful over at dmp's forum.

I wouldn't think release dates or future releases will be affected that much, but still...

He was such a vivid force behind different projects, especially Robot. There were at least 4 interviews I found online (including the one here at ANN) that showed how much energy and ambition he had into bringing the series here to the States.

Like GATSU said, it wouldn't be quite the same. He had connections with Range Murata and was even featured in the Japanese promo for the series. I'm glad Robot became a success and will hopefully continue in the future. It's just gonna feel a little empty without that vibe there.

P.S. just found out that Robot Vol. 2 will be released on April 5. I can wait two more weeks, I guess... wah
