Wow, I'm very surprised by this. Glad to see more of Bungou Stray Dogs though as I want to see more adapted from the manga.

Hell yeah!!! more BSD is sure welcome! if this is coming on spring then I am guessing next year BONES will BKAs4 with this since they also will work on another original anime, not to mention mob psycho 100 season 2 will be 2-cour. Strong possiblity on Fall maybe(like BBBs2 did). Anyway most importantly that hoping the same stuff as previous season will work on the new season..

This week will be the death of me.
The Reborn! anime finally gets a U.S. release, Voltron Legendary Defender gets two more 13-episode seasons (after a spell of 6-7 ep seasons), and now Bungou Stray Dogs Season 3 is a thing that is happening! Hoping for another strong season, and more Chuya and Dazai interactions. BTW, has there been any news about licensing the movie stateside? |

Hmmmm... as much as I want to be excited, I'm on the fence until I hear staff announcements, specifically if whether Takuya Igarashi and Yoji Enokido will reprise their position as director and writer respectively.

The Japanese blu-ray release for the movie wont be till November so we likely wont be seeing a Western release happen till sometime next year. At the very least, S2's home video release is coming in September to tide things over. |

I have seen the franchise yet, but it's curious Funi has not released the 2nd season on DVD/BD here yet like they did with the 1st season.

Yeah, can't wait to re-watch with the dub, I really enjoyed S2.
Also honestly I think the turn around between S1 and S2's BDs seemed pretty good to me. I also just kind of think the reason it took Funi a little longer than usual to bring out S1 was just because it was part of the handful of shows that were picked up just prior to the Funi-CR deal, so timetables and stuff with both CR and Studiopolis were probably contracted prior to involvement with Funi, just like with Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress.
Nice. Love both of these VAs. That's great timing then! I loved S2.
