yea it does..
However it also brings up my original point.. so this game appears to mostly be based during Mask of Deception.. but with an Opening line like that.. there has to be some elements of Mask of Truth in it.. regardless.. I just wanna run around as Kuon and beat the crap out of everything...

Yeah, don't watch that trailer if you haven't played Mask of Deception, at least. They're definitely selling this to people who are already fans of the series.
Based on everything we've seen, I'm pretty sure UZ is basically going to just be a retelling of the events of MoD, probably with some extra battles or side content added to it. The entire playable cast from MoD is playable, plus Ukon, and this trailer also revealed that Oshtor and Munechika will be DLC characters; there are several boss characters who show up in that trailer that you never fight in MoD; and we haven't seen any sign of any characters who didn't appear at all until Mask of Truth. |
