Yet another show Toonami won't get the rights to.

They'll probably wait until Sword Art Online: Alicization is finished and most of it dubbed before airing it on TV.

When something like SAO get licenses to both CR and Hulu, who does the translation? Will one of them be using the other's, or will they do them separately?

The translation will be provided by the licensor, which is Aniplex of America. CR and Hulu don’t own the license, Aniplex is simply allowing them to distribute their shows.

Also, it’s nice that Jojo, HxH, and One Punch Man’s dubs are finally starting to stream. I guess Toonami’s exclusivity has expired.

We already knew this about SAO. The trailer Aniplex released almost a month ago said "HULU" right at the end of it....I even commented about it lol

Didn't know that's how it worked. So does aniplex have its own service, or does it license to then sub-license?

OPM and HxH dubs were both on Netflix already so it had nothing to do with a Toonami exclusive anything.

I already have all of Sailor Moon S on DVD, but I'm glad to see Hulu finally add the dub for fans who haven't got to buy it yet. I wonder why it took Hulu so long to add the S dub?

Not in the US at least. I believe Netflix “accidentally” uploaded the English dub of One Punch Man, but that was quickly taken down within hours. And OPM is even totally leaving Netflix in a couple weeks. Hunter x Hunter I’m almost certain has never been dubbed on Netflix. OPM, HxH, and Jojo all have never had a legal English dub stream before now.
