Christ. It’s like one after another. It’s definitely not a good week for Japanese voice actors. My thoughts and prayers will be with his family.

That is awful...far too young. :( Having started on the Gundam dubs, I feel like I've only recently appreciated his work as Bernie and Seabook. I didn't realize those were his earliest voice roles, he was fantastic.

Get a grip, 2018!

edit: Oh, and Yakumo in 3x3 Eyes!! I loved him in that! Auuugh! ;_;

No, no, no! I just rewatched Blood+ last month and like always, I love Solomon.
Guess I'll just think his kazaana got the better of him. Rest in peace, legend!

We lost Miroku now too. Tsujitani wasn't even that old. My condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues. -_-

I only know him for his three roles (Miroku, Solomon, and Nagamasa from Sengoku Basara) and I really enjoyed his voices. His roles as the pretty boys/bishounen was very good. Haven't seen him played a big role in a long time then now this. My condolence to his family and friends.

And now the door for an anime adaptation of Crossbone Gundam slams shut forever. The fact he that played Bernie Wiseman, the co-lead of the actual best Gundam series just makes hurt more. The ending of 0080 was sad before but now... The video tape sequence is going to have even greater tragic dimensions to bring you to tears now. 56 is just too young to go... Rest in Peace in the Eternal Wind forevermore, Tsujitani-san.

Rest in Peace. I suppose they'll have to recast Dewey Novak in the Eureka Seven films now.

Crushing news. Tsujitani was one of the quintessential protagonist seiyuu of the '90s, and still managed to be very active in the '00s before switching lanes and becoming a sound director. His performance was one of the main reasons why I liked Miroku despite his handsy antics. May he rest in peace.

Unfortunate that this happened. I hope his family and friends can get through this. Thank you for having an impact on many lives. You were great as Bernie and Miroku.

RIP

I knew when that one death article appeared last week, more would follow. Now we've had like 5 articles in a week. smh
