A couple of Media Blasters-related issues not mentioned in the report that should be worth noting:

1. MB has delayed the release of Green Green Vol. #1 until June 27. It was originally scheduled to street today (May 16). According to what I read in this AoD thread, one of the reasons why MB delayed the release was so that they can add an English dub track. At first, MB originally planned to release Green Green as a Japanese dub-only release, but apparently they had a change of heart and decided to include an English track as well.

2. It looks like that the long-awaited release of Voltron will be bimonthly, with the first set to be released in September as scheduled and the second set in November. MB hasn't announced run times or set release dates at this time.

Why does Media Blasters give some run-of-the-mill harem anime a dub track and not Loveless? I don't even care if they decide to re-release it with a dub where everyone sounds like Threebrain's vocalist; when I've reccomended Loveless to new anime fans, they've flat-out refused because there's no dub. (Sorry; I know it's off topic but I just needed to rant.)

Anime on DVD has just reported that Media Blasters have set September 26 as the official street date for the first set of Voltron: Defender of the Universe. Running time is 375 minutes, and the MSRP is set at US $39.95. You can click on the above link for reference.
