It is well known among seiyuu fans that Sugita is a Kuwashima fanboy. In fact, he was a fan of her since he was still in high school.

Did they have a bunch of episodes of GeGeGe no Kitarou already in the can before Sawashiro took her leave? I've listened carefully to Kitarou's voice the past couple of episodes and cannot tell if it's her, or someone with a close-sounding voice? The Encyclopedia lists only Sawashiro in the role. Is it up-to-date?
Update: After watching this week's installment, I'm pretty sure Sawashiro is no longer voicing Kitarou.
