What do you mean by so soon? Season 2 aired on 2013. I had frankly given up hope that Chihayafuru was going to get another season. I don't recall that many shows getting continuations 6 or more years later.

Between Chihayafuru getting a third season and Fruits Basket getting a new anime adaptation, this has been a great day of surprises.

i'm really more surprised to see Madhouse releasing a sequel nowadays...TWICE for one series too! i'm glad though! i love them <3
