This is the first time I've seen Jeeg romanized as Zeig. I'm pretty sure most Japanese products such as Soul of Chogokins or the Super Robot Chogokins use Jeeg For example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/K-tetsu-JEEG-Robot-dsteel-Super-Chogokin-Action-Figure-Bandai-Tamashii-SRC-/122932086889 I know that Zeig is a reasonable romanization but is there any particular reason ANN prefers it to the one that's been around for so long? |

For a mobile game, it looks like it'll have surprisingly decent gameplay and story. Now I'm curious about its design. I'm guessing the early stages will have easy enemies, and grinding will periodically be required. I'm also guessing apart from the main mechs, the supporting cast will need to be unlocked via purchase and gacha.

I'm pretty sure this game won't be localized in the west. There are so many series here that it would cost Bamco too much money to get overseas licenses for all of them.
It's really too bad... I'd love to play it. |
