I'm so pissed! The woman who voices many of my favorite anime characters, such as Ed Elric and Nana Osaki, will be at AX...and I live in the East Coast. Sad She won't get to sign all my FMA and Nana and Samurai 7 stuff....Razz Oh well. I'll just have to watch videos of her panel.

...grrrrrr.....Why don't any seiyuu come to ANext! We have a lot of English language VAs, but no seiyuu! And Clamp is gonna be at AX too! A lot my favorite people, in one place, on the other side of the country! ARGH!

out of all her roles so far it's kinda funny i like her for the insecure Katsushiro, hehe.

i heard the english VA for Ed Elric will join her as well. that would be amusing if they got together in the same room. Anime hyper but knowing Romi... she'd be bashful about it around with someone she's not used to XP just my guess from the stuff i've seen with her ;P

So........ once again who did Expo have to screw to get Paku statesides?

First CLAMP now her? I mean damn Expo must be working with the mafia or the Devil's got a nice lil collection of souls in his care.

It doesn't hurt that members (Anime Expo) > Members (AnimeNEXT), honestly the only East Coast con that'd have a shot at CLAMP (IMO) is Otakon, probably the only other con in the US, unless CLAMP really wanted to visit some city. Also, the larger conventions have more people and better contacts (for a variety of reasons) so they can get better guests. Really, IMO a plane ticket across the US isn't THAT expensive, if a con is having a good collection of guests you REALLY like, you should go to that event. If it's not worth a couple hundred dollars for you to go see them, why would it be worth many THOUSANDS for con staff to bring them out?

(I use CLAMP as my example because I know they are huge and popular and a little apprehensive about attending events, I dunno Romi Paku's opinions so it's possible a con like AnimeNEXT could get her, altho AX and Ota's chances are obviously better)
