Seen the movie yesterday and truly amazing one. Really well done in all aspects for characters, animation, story etc. So highly recommend checking it out Smile

Nothing for Canada? Feels like we never get anything any more, unless I'm just not paying enough attention.

The description sounds like a decent film BUT it has the title of a horror film!

Oh, Japan -- don't stop being so weird on our account! Laughing

I imagine it'll be on home video by the end of summer...
I wonder if Aniplex of America will option it or will it go to one of the usual suspects? GKids or Funi would be my bet if AoA doesn't license it.

I would suggest messaging Aniplex of America through every channel of social media possible asking them to arrange Canadian screenings. Encourage others to do so as well.

Also, if there is an independent theatre in your area, tell them you'd like to see them screen it. The reason there was a Vancouver screening of Liz and the Blue Bird was because I requested that Vancity Theatre screen the film!

That seems to have been its main drawing power over the last few months. People come for the curious dissonance but stay for the story.

The thought just hit me...

"I want to eat your pancreas" would also be a great title for a pop song!

It could either by a HORROR song like "Monster Mash" or some weird, tacky health-kick song. If it were the latter case, that song would have been sung by Olivia Newton-John in the 1970s or early 1980s.

It's such a goofy title. You can't get away from it!

It IS a morbid curiosity for people, isn't it?
