When you are thinking "Just what Japan needs is NOT another anime studio." given that several have recently shuttered along comes a young talent looking to buck the trend. It's enough for me that his resume includes character designs for Tsuki ga Kerie (that three words in Romanji, please, Article Writer-san). The animation on that one was fantastic work. It was rendered in watercolor tones, similar to Grimgar, and it requires a lot of artistic skill to make that work believably.
