Ohhhh okay.

And StarMyu too...

.... as much as I love Tsukiuta, can they... can they make theirs Fall? To avoid competition? I don't think I could handle three at once...

EnStars has been getting so much buzz recently though, because of the new stage play starring Taiki. I haven't seen it, but it does look really good. That group won't be in this, though, if they're starting from the beginning. Taiki is great, though...

............ StarMyu, Tsukiuta, EnStars... ahhh with that lineup, this could get emotional... expect some commentary from StarMyu because that's what StarMyu does.

I intend on watching this for that alone. Love them too

I'm never really into any idol stuff, but EnStars picked my attention way back when the game first came out because the themed units were actually pretty interesting and I actually really liked the art style for once.
I wished there was a female idol version too... I just haven't found anything similar so far that really clicked with me like this one did.

I didn't play it for long (didn't enjoy the gameplay itself), but I listened to some songs, and am definitely gonna try watching the anime.

There was! There was a girls version originally, and the main character transferred from that school! But the boys version got way more popular than the original (because at the time, it was that or UtaPri and UtaPri didn't have a mobile game yet). The girls game shut down, actually...

This, Tsukiuta, and Idolm@ster have had both, and BanG Dream is starting Argonavis, I think, that's a boys version... I think Band Yarouze had a girl group in it, but that also shut down... would love to know if there are others~ (oh, and Show By Rock, if that counts)

... if the anime doesn't cut the center (like the stage plays did), then they should go into her past at the other school. Give at least a little for Ensemble Girls fans... maybe even have some of the other characters guest star. Or give her a real back story...

The girls in that version were a bit younger than the enstars dudes though I think? Or, well, they all looked really young.
It was sad it shut down though, but mostly because Leo's sister is now dead lol

They were guys dressing as girls. (Cure2tron! They were my fave group, they had the best songs)

I still want more idol games/anime that have mixed gender characters. A boyish girl trope in a girl idol game or an otokonoko trope character in a boy idol game just isn't the same.
SB69 is the only one I really know of, though story wise I don't know if the groups interact (outside of the anime). (actually is there even a proper story in sb69 game, I haven't play it since like...when the anime was first airing...)

Leo's sister died...? Someone died in this game?

There's Swiiiiiits, which is, literally gijinka Pocky idols. There's one girl in that, they started as just boy and girl twins but then they added four more boys.
Tsukiuta has a boy and a girl for each month... they don't interact enough, but they do sometimes. The girls appeared for an episode in the first season, and two of the months had duets of the boy and girl (including February's idols Koi and Ai, who are twins). They're starting to do more with the girls, so maybe soon? The girls need their own anime...
I'm always surprised at how separate IM@s keeps the boys and girls...
