Angel's Egg? Well that is an interesting choice for Netflix.

Going by the source (Netflix) it's Angel Beats. Headline is wrong.

Damn. For 5 seconds they had my hopes up. Partly 'cause I'd like to have an easy way to see Angel's Egg, and partly because I want people to see really different anime. Like you can see Goku Midnight Eye on Amazon Prime.

A lot of late-80's/early 90's Streamline-era OVA from us long-timers' campus-club childhoods have been falling into the semi-Public-Domain netherworlds of Amazon and streaming as of late--I can finally watch "Robot Carnival" again on Prime, and I've never seen "Castle of Cagliostro" or "UY: Beautiful Dreamer" so widely available before--so yeah, I assumed someone had dug up Angel's Egg. Only opened the article to see whether it was the cut-up Roger Corman version.

But nope, it's Beats, nothing to see (or stream) here, move on. Sad

Thank you to everyone who pointed out the error in the headline. We've corrected the article and yes the correct title on Netflix now in the UK is Angel Beats!, not Angel's Egg. We apologize for the error.

It's 7pm CST, Feb.3, 2019, & neither the Netflix hyperlink works nor is "Angel Beats!" available to Netflix subscribers in their North American market! Clicking the hyperlink takes you to a "This Page Does Not Exist" screen for Netflix with a button that will take you to Netflix's main page. Once there (or better, by using the Netflix streaming service itself) if you search for this it will NOT be in their catalog & you'll be shown a bunch of anime & live titles that are supposedly "Related to This Title" but absolutely are not - the streaming channel shows a list of unavailable titles under the alphabet pad on the search screen & "Angel Beats!" shows up in the list the moment you type the "B"! And at the bottom of this claim it even gives the name of the original publisher of this news, a UK source, as a hyperlink so you can go & read this news straight from the source!! So why is this under the section for the US & Canada, neither of which actually receives Netflix's UK catalog of available titles?! Was it just to get North Americans excited just to slam us with disappointment the moment we click the non-functional Netflix hyperlink, knowing full well that most fans who have been waiting for this show to reappear anywhere would never read to the end to see this is a UK add only! And even if we did resist clicking the redirect link the second we saw it & instead read through to the bottom we still would be smacked with the disappointing truth that the author of this article &/or this site lied to us by placing this news for UK FANS ONLY in the "US & Canada" section! Am I the only one fuming over this obvious error that never have been posted?? TAKE THIS DOWN, SITE ADMINS! Or at least move it OUT of the US & Canada section to where it actually belongs, please! Bye (I'm too annoyed to suggest it should be "Good"!) Evil or Very Mad !!

There's a British flag next to the headline on the main page, which indicates that it's a UK-relevant story.
