How can anyone turn a profit selling games this cheap? I've never played Downwell, but judging by the trailer I would certainly pay far more than $2.99 for what looks like a well designed 2D shooter.

The game has been out since 2015 and has already turned a profit. Markdowns over time are nothing new. I have the game on Steam and the price seems fair for what it offers.
