Dunno know if this will stand out much narratively in this isekai boom. But visually this looks a lot better then I was expecting. Lots of stand out bits in that pv. So I'm atleast looking forward to seeing if it can keep up with the sakuga.

I'm just hoping the cute blond is an actual rival and/or part of the harem and not just the obligatory sacrificial lion. 2:02 on the trailer has me concerned.

Oddly enough, this is not a harem story. The MC has one love interest and they get together pretty quickly and stay monogamous and loyal (at least as far as I have read in the story). There are a few other girls who are 'interested' but more like flirts/gold diggers than truly interested.

Also, which blond? Gus? Or one of the others?

The intro hits the beats of the first story arc rather well, so I am hopeful there. But some of the design choices seem a bit questionable.

August, yeah. I had him pegged as either an ongoing foil for the MC, or the character who seems important but dies to show how "serious" the stakes are. Can't decide which. (I blame that character design.)

This looks like it could be a fun, fairly low-stakes magic school adventure that scratches the same itch as Zero no Tsukaima or Knight's[sic] and Magic, but you never can tell these days. I'm getting jaded in my ripe old age. Rolling Eyes

Well to the person who said it's low stakes. Unfortunely it's not low stakes for the people of that world. Especially of the school. You'll see what happens as it unfolds. I'm so hyped for this. Been following the manga for awhile and so looking forward to this anime. Even comes out during my b day month. :3
