Man this is looking pretty bad. Having followed cop craft I am not looking forward to seeing how the director of Berserk and Teekyu is going to handle this. Even the character design looks bland.

Its the same studio (CGI studio) as Berserk, so yes it will be bottom of the barrel terrible PS2/PS1 quality CGI.

Actually, it's the 2D animation studio for new Berserk producing this. The 3D studio's doing this season's Magnificent Kotobuki.

[facts: straightened]

The premise sounds like Blood Blockade Battlefront, which is awesome, and I love Gatoh's comic writing. Amagi Brilliant Park and Full Metal Panic: Fuffumofu were great. His drama writing isn't as good IMHO, so I hope the humor aspect is stronger. Looking forward to it

I have a good feeling about this one. Speaking for myself, at least.

Can't f-ing wait. Gatoh writing himself is pretty cool. Those anime designs adapted by Hiromi Kimura for the poster look promising for keeping Murata's look into the animation which is very promising for the art end of things.

I hope they can keep it up since this will be the first show with his art that's not being done by Gonzo which has already done good work capturing his art style in the past. I think the poster is a good start though. Looking forward to some trailers as we get closer to summer.

Yup, the premise is awesome.
Yeah, I have a good feeling about him writing his own adaptation for this.
I think the buddy cop aspects will bring both drama and some comedy, so I think it'll fit him well.
