Minor thing, but I noticed the english title link to the manga, while the anime itself is still listed by its Japanese title Confused

Love the show so far. The comedic parts DO make me smile.

I got to admit, I'm pretty charmed by this show. It's managed to avoid common trappings that plague so many other harem romcoms. Futaro has to work his butt off to so much as earn their respect, let alone their affections, and he doesn't even *want* to in the case of the latter. Yotsuba is the only one that even likes him starting out, and I think that's more due to the fact that Yotsuba just likes everyone. It's got a solid sense of comedic timing, genuinely making me laugh out loud a couple times (Miku masquerading as Yotsuba was golden) and all the girls are reasonably likable so far, although I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared of Nino's willingness to drug him so that he's out of their lives. The surprising lack of fanservice isn't something I would've expected given how obviously attractive all the girls are, but that also does mean that the few times fanservice does show it feels a tad shoehorned in. Not something I mind personally, but it's something to keep note of.

The production certainly isn't anything to write home about, but I don't think anyone was expecting it to rise above totally average.

I'm just happy that we get a reasonably charming romantic harem comedy where the main protagonist actually is a sympathetic human being rather than a self-insert blank slate, or worse, a creepy perv.

I haven't read the manga, but have seen a lot of buzz about this series, so it was great to see that the first two eps didn't disappoint.
Only thing I'd worry about now is how much can be done with 5 leading ladies in 12 eps. From what I've seen online, the show has so far kept pretty close to the manga, so I wonder just how much character development we'll be able to get in (probably) 3 volumes worth of content for 6 characters

I've also been unexpectedly charmed by this series. Sure, the situation is contrived (especially the convenient lack of any adults in the girls' day-to-day lives), but within the confines of the genre, the main character is pretty strongly drawn and, as others have said, really has to work to get the girls to even tolerate his presence, much less develop any interest in him.

The fact that his interactions with the girls involve some real give and take, where he will be soundly defeated and need to work hard to come back stronger is actually kind of unusual for these kinds of shows. I've seen plenty of shows where the main character has some kind of obsession or hobby that a girl will become interested in, or that will end up providing some (incredibly contrived) insight into how to "earn" the affections of his harem. Episode 2 is a rare example of the harem protagonist having to let himself get swept up in the girl's hobby/obsession in order to get the time of day from her, and I found that pretty nice. Also entertaining.

I'm hoping the quality remains consistent on this one going forward. If it does, it will end up being a really great, fluffy little show.

Always nice to have a decent romcom to watch each Season and with R+J ended this sets itself up as a nice replacement. I enjoyed what I've seen so far, some nice character dynamics, the sisters are very likeable and have their own distinct personality bubbles (Miku BG! <3). Most important though MC-kun isn't a boring self-insert nobody.

Story setup is simple but makes sense so adds a more believable vibe to proceedings. It should be quite amusing seeing how Futaro deals with these chronic procrastinators both individually and as a group The comedy has been pretty good for a chuckle so far, definitely nothing groan worthy yet. So I'm pretty optimistic we'll end up having a lot of fun with this one.

I thought this was a pretty good start to this anime.

I found it to be rather funny at times and can see there will be a lot of laughs in the future, good luck dealing with these 5 girls.

Scoring 100 combined, he definitely has a lot of work ahead but at least is on his side now.

I gotta admit I’m pleasantly surprised by how funny this show is. Of all the shows I blind watched the first episode of this season, this one is probably the best.

Looking forward to the dub!

I’m really enjoying this show a lot. The girls are very entertaining and the voice acting is solid. One thing that I’m hoping happens to this series though is for it to get more than one anime season as I feel like this premise could benefit from it quite well.

To me episode 3 was easily the weakest of the lots, it just jump right into the worse aspect of harem show. With the classic ridiculous misunderstanding the end up with fan service (once more a guy accidentally get on top of near naked girl), it was neither original nor well executed. The trial was also non sense, he could have easily explained himself but didn't because...?

The best part about this show is that the MC isn’t an immature horny idiot.

I think it would be better if they didn't spoil the wedding at the beginning of the series. Although I guess the show would be more slice-of-life'ish than a harem if they didn't. That, and it might not necessarily end up being a harem after all, since all the beginning did was show that he was going to marry one of them -- aren't we just assuming they all will fall in love with him instead of just one of them? Yeah, I'm sure I'll be wrong and it really IS a harem, but it would be nice if the show played out with only the girl who married him at the beginning of the show was the one who fell in love with him, and the rest became his friends instead. (Because lord knows he could use some -- his classmates' behavior at the beginning of the show was just... wow.)

I just find it irritating that they do this. Because when they set the end point, the whole series is just going to have this "stalling for time" thing over it if the WHOLE series is going to be about the girls antagonizing the male lead in various ways to get him to leave. Even Love Hina was smart enough to have "the promise" be just childhood memories that was proven somewhat inaccurate when spoiler[Naru stated that at the time, she was barely old enough to speak properly, much less actually WRITE anything], and as such, not necessarily very accurate memories at that.

On that note, I hope the entire show isn't going to be about the girls trying to get the male lead to leave. That sort of thing is going to wear me out and make them very unsympathetic if they let it go on for too long. Even if it's just one of the girls doing it.
