I am very much hype for this series! I'm sure it's only going to cover a small fraction of the manga, but I'm really hoping it'll result in the manga, despite being a 35 volume long shojo, getting licensed. By SOMEONE! (almost) ANYONE! (except Dark Horse, who will quit halfway through, or Udon, who will just straight up never release it)

Haha, Tamura never has problems with character development, even with her large casts. Gonzo ommitting things is what we have to worry about. Probably gonna be one of those "read the manga" adaptions but I am still hyped. Yumi Tamura's works deserve more. |

^Also, doesn't the manga have like, 40 characters at least? I'm guessing the anime will be leaving out 3 of the 5 groups then. Yep, gonna have to just read the manga!
My other concern is that Basara is an incredibly dense manga, like, two episodes worth of Game of Thrones dense per volume of Basara. Granted, it doesn't feel that dense when reading it, it feels just right, but I can help but feel like you'd need like, 3 eps per volume at least to even get close to a faithful adaptation. I'm going to assume that 7 Seeds' manga is similarly dense. Just gonna read the manga at the end of the day! But still watch the anime cus I want them to license the damn manga (and more of the anime wouldn't hurt) |

Yeah, at least.
I still don't even know how Gonzo is doing this. They're going to have to chop something completely out or... just not adapt all of it. Do we even know how many eps it is? |
