Good thing this show is a musical--if it stays true to the source material, there sure as hell won't be any sound effects!
As for "choreography", I predict a lot of actors freezing in place to honor the anime's lack-of-cel count...

This is quite possibly the most weird idea for an anime musical yet.

Chargeman Ken looks alot like Speed Racer to me for some reason.

Liner notes on the Chargeman Ken! DVD says that a couple of pilot shorts that led to Chargeman's production had one Eiji Tanaka as a character designer. Tanaka was a key animator at Tama Productions, which made Speed Racer some six years earlier. |

If Mike Toole some DOESN'T attend this and report on it for us vicariously, I will be sorely disappointed. I mean, clearly, he's one of the main people this musical is being made FOR.
