Congrats to the production committee for forcing a series to air when it clearly was no where near ready and causing the production to literally crash this hard. I guess you can be proud of making the people at J.C. Staff have to overwork themselves to the point that I doubt anyone on that team is actually even healthy. I'm pretty sure we're at the point where they're given less than 8 weeks to animate episodes, and that's really bad.

I was thinking it was due to them going back over the episode animation to make some fixes, but given it comes with an OVA... I think the real reason is that they have to find time to make the OVA. |

^I wouldn't count on any major changes to any episodes for the BD release. While folks like to say "Oh they'll fix it for the blu-rays" usually what gets fixed are just the worst bits of any troubled production - maybe some corrections on infamously bad shots or filling in placeholders, but to hear some talk about it you'd think every show gets totally reanimated from scratch.
Fact is, usually staff for any TV series have mostly moved on to other projects or have left the current studio once the initial run of episodes are done. There's not the kind of manpower or time to just fix or tweek everything. |
