Finally, an announcement for the dub of Goemon's film!

Though I wonder if they'll use the cast used by BangZoom! in Jigen's Gravestone, retain the current LA-based cast that includes Tony Oliver, Richard Epcar, Michelle Ruff and Lex Lang, or a mix of both.

Woo, I hope this leads to a US release for both.

Well that was dam fast, Goemon's Blood Spray is getting a dub after about two and a half years, while Fujiko Mine's Lie is getting one after only 2 months.

So is TMS the ones producing the dubs? If so that means the cast could be anyone; a continuation from Discoteks, the usual LA cast or even some new people. Personally I hope they use the same as Discotek for consistency, plus I actually liked them as the characters, they fitted the more darker style of the Fujiko Mine sub series.

Fujiko's Lie already getting dubbed? That was fast.
I wonder if Goemon's Blood Spray is going to keep the Bang Zoom cast with Keith Silverstein or go to the now standard Tony Oliver cast? As much I love Oliver and co, I actually thought Jigen's Gravestone's cast fit the darker feeling of the movie really well. I'd be cool with it either way.

Tony Oliver is listed as the ADR director but nothing mentioned for the voice of Lupin, Cristina Vee is voicing Fujiko, not Michelle Ruff, which is interesting since Vee is voicing Ami in Part V, and Lex Lang is back as Goemon.

The dub seems to be using some Part IV/V cast, with a few others switch out. Because of that, I'm assuming TMS is producing this themselves and this isn't tied to Discotek. Hopefully we will get a home release of both though.

Cast consistency? Lupin III doesn't need any cast consistency!

Or maybe this IS that, for the Koike movies. I wonder, though, if it'll actually have Keith Silverstein and Dan Woren as Lupin and Jigen, respectively. Cristina Vee was basically doing a Michelle Ruff impression in Jigen's Gravestone, so I'm fine with that, but I felt those two were kind of iffy. And yet Lex Lang is playing Goemon (and presumably Richard Epcar as Zenigata).

Hey, if Silverstein doesn't want to play Lupin, they can get Bob Bergen, or David Hayter, lol.

But I'm impressed that after finally announcing the dub for Goemon's Blood Spray they've announced Fujiko's Lie right away. I'll definitely collect both of them. Koike should make several more of these movies, they're hard boiled and fun.

I have to admit that I'm still a bit miffed that they had Richard Epcar in the studio for a Jigen-focused movie... but he didn't play Jigen!
