I think that training animators will be important. I know that Kyoto Amimation is people first, business second, and before the people are animators, they are humans with feelings and families. The precious people lost are irreplacable, but even so, KyoAni will need new people. So that's why I think it's good that the government will help.

Although, I hate that such a tragedy had to happen for eyes to open, and nothing good can be said to have come from this disaster. But people still have, in the midst of misery, a way to claw for hope and something positive. Maybe thousands of people coming together under a banner of support is it. Maybe government support growing is it.

That is good. Anyway, it feels whatever I say is a mess and invalid anyway, so don't pay too much attention to it. Please don't bother to reply or argue with me. My mentality is very fragile at the moment. So I am turing of reply notifications.

Its kinda nice too see the government acting on it aswell especialy on the issue about the raised donations that were gathered oversea about the whole tax stuff etc hope they can figure out a good solution so that kyoani can get all the money they can because they will surely need it to rebuild the whole thing. Also good to see about the training for new animators there are sure lots of talented people out there that are still unpolished diamonds, ofcourse it cant replace the amazing people that did the work until now but they can surely filled the void atleast a lil bit.
I am just happy as an anime fan too see so much support given to kyoani, it just makes them realize even more how much of a great work they have been doin until now and gives them the strength to continue for many more years to come Smile

It's nice to see the government take notice and now try to help KyoAni get back on their feet. It's a devastating tragedy for everyone involved but it does show there are many good people in this world and the government are only too well aware just how big an industry it is and how many people are watching and waiting for them to act.

The tax breaks are a great idea, hopefully they can sort something out soon so the money can go where it needs to.

When I saw the title I was worried it would just be the government bandwagoning onto the response to the tragedy for cheap political points, especially while the animation sector in general has a lot of issues the government could be focusing on, but these specific ideas seem pretty good. Either lessening or outright waiving the tax on the donations would be really wonderful, as Sentai has raised a lot of money, and the main purpose of the law (stopping tax evasion) doesn't really apply here. Furthermore, animator training is something that will not only help kyoani rebuild, but would have a positive impact on the industry as a whole.
