With people being more understanding of the conditions mangaka and animators work in, I would think that it will become easier for publishers to give artists breaks when they need them.

I hope this will become a regular thing. It must be so difficult to do weekly serializations.

Now this is a piece of good news! Mangaka are overworked and people complain when they go on breaks. In some cases, like Togashi Yoshihiro or Takeuchi Tomo, it's kind of understood due to their health, but in some cases, it's a confusing situation. Still, everyone deserves a break, especially in a country like Japan, where karoshi is a problem and taking breaks is seen as bad.
