I guess neither Amazon nor Crunchyroll were interested, though this does raise the question over the voice cast, will they stick with the same one or use a new one.

I would guess that Netflix gave the highest bid and it is good to see the Kabaneri movie getting an official English release so quickly after the Japanese release. Hopefully Netflix will get the same VAs for the English dub.
