High Score Girl was one of the big surprises in recent anime series for me. It was an unlikely premise but it carried the story off perfectly and has immense impact. I can't wait for the second season and hope the minor staff changes will not affect the fine balance of Season 1. It almost fell into the harem trap but ....it didn't thankfully . I hope this safety continues.
