Needless to say, I am highly disappointed the closest showing to me is a four hour drive away. Nothing in Illinois. Also, why so many theaters in AZ & CA? What happened to the Midwest and Northeast?
Sentai is asking for fans to contact their local theaters to request a screening. I do not understand why we have to do all the legwork for them, because we all filled out that survey. Sentai Filmworks have partnered with Fathom Events for theatrical releases in the past few months, why not this one? So many sad people right now. Hey, how about trying to get this worldwide too? I know Sentai doesn't have distribution rights in other countries, but no reason that can't be worked out somehow. There are Utapri fans all over the world! All I can say is if you want a showing in your area, make a consorted effort to bring one there by calling/emailing local theaters. |
